Privacy policy
ytools.ai is operated by Ytools AI Ltd, a company incorporated in the Ras Al Khaimah International Corporate Centre (RAK ICC), United Arab Emirates, and based in Dubai, UAE (“Ytools”, “we”, “us”).
This policy explains what we collect when you visit ytools.ai or join our early access list, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your channel URL or handle, your channel size and the tool you're most interested in.
- Referral information: a personal referral code we generate for you, and the code of whoever referred you, if anyone.
- Technical data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user agent, used only to prevent spam and abuse. We don't store your raw IP address with your signup.
We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and the site doesn't set cookies. Your browser stores your referral code locally so we can show you your place in line when you come back.
Why we use it
- To invite you to early access and send you updates about ytools.ai's launch.
- To decide the order of invitations, including referral credit.
- To understand which creators we should build for first.
- To keep the list free of spam and fake signups.
Ytools AI Ltd is the controller of this data. We process it in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR. We rely on your consent (which you give by joining the list) and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the site and send email, under agreements that require them to protect it, or when the law requires us to.
International transfers
Our servers and some of our service providers are located outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union. When your data is transferred, we use providers and safeguards that offer an adequate level of protection.
AI processing
When the product launches, our AI agents will process the footage, scripts and channel data you connect in order to provide the service, which may include using carefully selected AI model providers under contract. Those providers may not use your data to train their models, and neither will we use it to train models for other customers.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed for the launch of the product. If you become a customer, a separate privacy policy for the product will apply.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email privacy@ytools.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority — in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, if you're on the list, let you know by email.
